Are you ready for the biggest outdoor track event on the UK skating calendar?
As one of the Big Three (along with the British Indoor Championships and the British Inline Marathon), the British National Outdoor Track Championships represent the pinnacle of the sport in the UK. On 26th & 27th July 2025, the British speed skating elite converge on Tatem Park, London, to do battle on track to claim the title of British Champion. The racing is fast and fierce, the atmosphere electric, and skating history is made. Many new budding stars of the future also compete in the hopes of making their mark. For some, this will be their first Championship; for others, a chance to build on previous experience; and for the established skaters, an opportunity to consolidate previous successes.

Please note that you must be a Member of the Federation or a World Skate recognised federation to take part in National Championship events. Skaters who are not British may enter, however, to be crowned British Champion, they must be the holder of a British Passport and/or have resided in the UK for two or more years. Any skaters who do not meet this criteria, but are Federated Members, are permitted to race and will receive recognition of their achievement on the podium if they place in the top three positions, however cannot claim the title of British Champion. These skaters will receive an alternative medal of equal quality.

As with any sporting activity, skating is not without risk and therefore there is a chance of injury. Helmets are a mandatory requirement of all events . Other protective equipment, whilst optional, is encouraged.

Registration closes at midnight on 13th July 2025. There is no late or on the day entry available for Championship level events. Due to the nature of the event there will be no novice races.
