THE biggest and most prestigious indoor event of the year is now open for registration.
The British National Indoor Championships is held once a year at the end of the indoor season, and brings together skaters from across the UK to compete for the British Indoor titles. The stakes are high, the corners are tight and the skating is the fastest you will see anywhere in Britain indoors. This year the competition returns, following a long hiatus, to Madison Heights in Essex, one of the best skating venues in the country which boasts a fantastic and unique skating surface.
The on-site cafe/diner will be open for refreshments and food.
Skaters are divided into age groups for British National events. Please visit the Age Categories page here for the British age groups.

COST OF ENTRY
Mini, Pupil, Cadet, Youth – £8 per race. All races (discounted) – £20
Junior, Master, Senior – £9.50 per race. All races (discounted) – £24
There is an (approx) 15% discount for skaters who enter all races.
Pupil/cadet Relay – £13
Youth/Junior/Master/Senior Relay Teams – £16
Clubs should, wherever possible, submit their relay teams. Relay teams are made up of two skaters.
Eligibility
Please note that you must be a Member of the Federation or another Internationally Recognised Federation to take part in National Championship events. You can join us as a Member here
Skaters who are not British may enter this event, however to be crowned British Champion must be the holder of a British Passport and/or have resided in the UK for two or more years. Any skaters who do not meet this criteria will be permitted to race and will receive recognition of their achievement on the podium if they place in the top three positions however cannot claim the title of British Champion and will receive an alternative to the National medal.
Entries close 16th March 2025 at midnight. There is no late or on the day entry for National Championship events. Due to the nature of the event, there will be no novice races.
