The mixed relay is a new format which is under consideration as a potential future addition to the British Track Championships. We are trialling the relay at this event, giving you the chance to be a part of this process. This is also a rare opportunity to obtain relay practice in a competitive setting ahead of the British Championships in July.
We’re breaking the “traditional” rules to make this as inclusive and exciting as possible. Here’s the lowdown:
Mixed Teams: 2 or 3 skaters per team, including at least one male and one female.- Club-Hop: No club requirements! Form a “super-team” with friends from other clubs or skate with your teammates.
- Zero Cost: Entry is FREE for anyone already registered for the Federation Track Race.
- Everyone Skates: Every team member must complete at least one lap.
- Don’t have a team? Don’t sweat it! If you’re an independent skater, new to the scene, or just haven’t found a duo/trio yet, let us know on the registration form. We’ll play matchmaker and find a team for you!
