The British National Outdoor Championships represent the pinnacle of the outdoor sport in the UK, with skaters from across the country battling it out on the track to earn the title of British Champion 2023. Skaters compete in their national age groups. The age groups and their associated distances are in the below link:
Cost of entry: Mini (6 – 9 years) – £7 per race. 20% (approx) discount for entering all races
Pupil (10 – 12 years) – £7 per race. 20% (approx) discount for entering all races
Cadet (13 – 14 years) – £7 per race. 20% (approx) discount for entering all races
Youth (15 – 16 years) – £7 per race. 20% (approx) discount for entering all races
Junior (17 – 18 years) – £8.50 per race. 20% (approx) discount for entering all races
Senior (19 years +) – £8.50 per race. 20% (approx) discount for entering all races
Master (30 years +) £8.50 per race. 20% (approx) discount for entering all races
Please note that you must be a Member of the Federation or a World Skate recognised federation to take part in National Championship events.
Skaters who are not British may enter however to be crowned British Champion must be the holder of a British Passport or have resided in the UK for two or more years. Any skaters who do not meet this criteria will be permitted to race and will receive recognition of their achievement on the podium if they place in the top three positions however cannot claim the title of British Champion and will receive an alternative medal.
