The British 6Hours Endurance Challenge is back after a three year break, a collaboration between LondonSkaters Speed Team and Federation of Inline Speed Skating. The only skate event of its kind in the UK, this event is suitable for and open to all skaters and is fantastic training ahead of Le Mans – or just as a challenge! For international skaters this is also an awesome way to combine skating and a visit to the vast attractions of London. Fancy dress is acceptable (perhaps even encouraged!) as is taking part to raise funds for Charities.
The objective is to cover the greatest possible distance in 6 Hours in their respective categories, taking turns in teams or as a solo skater. Duo and teams skate one at a time in a relay, changing as often as they like and whenever they feel necessary. There will be a Le Mans style start (starting skaters will line up on one side of track and run across track to put on their skates). Teams will need to wear matching clothing to assist with identification.
