The 2026 Leeds Roller Marathon road race returns to the fantastic Brownlee Centre, offering an exciting day of road racing for skaters of all ages and abilities.
As part of the FISS Road Race Series, the event welcomes everyone from first-time competitors to experienced racers looking to test themselves on one of the UK’s premier closed-road circuits. Whether you’re aiming for a podium finish, chasing a personal best, or simply enjoying the experience of racing alongside fellow skaters, Leeds promises a fun, friendly and competitive atmosphere.
The Venue
The Brownlee Centre provides an excellent setting for road racing. Purpose-built for cycling and wheeled sports, its smooth tarmac, flowing corners and traffic-free environment create the ideal venue for safe and exciting competition.
The circuit rewards good technique, tactical awareness and endurance, making it enjoyable for both developing skaters and seasoned competitors alike. Spectators can also enjoy excellent views of much of the course, ensuring plenty of opportunities to cheer on family, friends and clubmates throughout the day.
Racing for Everyone
The Leeds Road Race is open to skaters of all abilities, with races designed to provide an enjoyable challenge for everyone.
Our Road Race format for skaters aged 6–14 years offers exciting, age-appropriate racing that develops confidence, endurance and race skills in a supportive environment.
For skaters aged 15 years and over, a range of endurance races provides the opportunity to compete over longer distances, whether your goal is to complete your first road race or battle for Road Race Series points.

- Inline and quad skaters
- Beginners through to elite athletes
- Junior, Senior and Masters competitors
Professional Event Experience
Electronic chip timing will be used throughout the event to provide fast and accurate results.
Every endurance finisher will receive:
- A commemorative finisher’s medal
- A digital finish certificate
- Official published results
Podium presentations will recognise the top three finishers in each age category.
