Mark your calendars now for July 4th and 5th 2026, because the British National Outdoor Track Championships are returning to Tatem Park. The second of the prestigious “Big Three” National events throughout the skating year, this weekend represents the absolute pinnacle of speed skating in the UK.

On this one weekend of the year, the elite of the British skating world will descend upon London’s Tatem Park to do battle for the ultimate prize: the title of British Champion. Expect the racing to be fierce, the atmosphere electric, and the history books to be rewritten. Whether you’re a rising star looking to make your mark, a first-timer testing your grit, or a veteran looking to defend your legacy—this is your moment.

⏱️ RACE INFORMATION AND LOGISTICS

The Venue: Tatem Park, London. Featuring a banked skating track and home to North London Roller Speed Skating Club, and training venue for both North London, LondonSkaters Speed Team and the Inline Speed Skating GB Development squad, Tatem has a long and varied history within the sport and is one of the fastest tracks in Europe.

The Vibe: High-octane racing, national titles, and an on-site cafe/diner to keep you fueled.

The Competition: Skaters are divided by National Age Categories. Check your category here.

Medals earned at this event will be added to the 2025/26 Championship medal table, earning more glory and prestige for your club.

No late entries. No on-the-day registration. No novice races. Due to the nature and calibre this event is not suitable for novice skaters.
