The Stourport Roller Marathon is the first event of the FISS Road Race Series (RRS), held at Stourport Sports Club in Strouport-On-Severn.
Open to all skaters, including non-FISS Members and recreational/quad skaters, the event consists of a 100m sprint supporting race, followed by the main event, the Stourport Marathon/ half marathon/ 10K (or alternative distance for younger skaters). Skaters are split into age categories and encouraged, but not expected, to participate in both races, and are welcome to only skate in the longer race if they wish to do so.
All age groups will have the opportunity to skate the 100m sprint. The FISS age categories and their associated distances for the endurance race along with the event schedule, track layouts for the different races and important information can be found in the links below:
100M HEATS
Race times will be determined by an electronic chip timing system. A digital certificate featuring the finish time for the endurance race will be issued to all participants via email. Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to skaters who finish first, second and third in each age category for the 100m sprint and the endurance race. All other skaters will receive a finishers medal for the endurance race.
Some age groups have the option to skate a shorter distance in place of the main distance for their age group. Please refer to the race list for more information. Please note that gold, silver and bronze will not be handed out for these alternative distance, however a finishers medal and certificate will still be provided. Please note that there will be a processing time for the certificates and they will be issued after the event.
Time Limit
There will be a time limit of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes for the adult endurance race.
Road Series Points
