OPENING CEREMONY
- We will once again be holding a minimalist opening ceremony. Each of the teams (participating skaters and perhaps coaches) will be invited onto the track with an announcement (and music) to complete a rolling lap 15 minutes prior to the first race.
- The expectation is for clubs to wear their team kit, ie club tshirts etc, however a skinsuit will suffice if this is not possible. Clubs may bring their Club flag if they have one, and have flag bearers. Independent skaters will be called as "independent skaters". Once this has taken place, the 2025 Championships will be declared "Open".
- This should be a slow rolling lap, please behave in an appropriate manner; we also do have time constraints in order to ensure the first race commences at 10am. Any flags used should be club flags only.
- Clubs should commence their lap from the primary track entrance, and this should be done in the following alphabetical order to provide structure: 1. Birmingham Wheels Roller Speed club 2. East Midlands Racing 3. Essex Skating Club 4. Herts Roller Speed Team 5. Londonskaters Speed team 6. Midlands Roller Speed Club 8. North London Roller Speed Club 7. Wisbech Inline Speed Skating Independent skaters
FIRST AID PROVISION
- There should be a representative from each Club responsible for first aid, wherever possible. We encourage skaters to bring their own kits also. First Aid provision is provided by the Federation however it is essential that we all do our bit.
