The Federation of Inline Speed Skating (FISS) was established in 1998 as the national governing body of the sport of roller skating in the United Kingdom after the disbandment of the National Skating Association (NSA).

The British Roller Sports Federation (BRSF) are our overarching governing body and we are recognised with World Skate and World Skate Europe and other international federations across the globe.

The Federation’s purpose is to grow the sport of roller skating in the UK, via a series of events and promotions, and to provide governance of the sport. There are a small number of Clubs which are affiliated Member Clubs of the Federation and Membership is also available to individuals, both as associate (or affiliate) and full skating Memberships.
