Each year, a set of annual awards are presented to reward those skaters who have made exceptional effort or obtained outstanding achievements over the course of the year. The awards and their categories are detailed below:
All Annual Award winners are selected by the FISS Committee, with the exception of the Skater of the Year Award, which is voted for by the FISS Membership. Nominations received for each award will be announced on December 31st, following the closing of the voting period for Skater of the Year, with the winners presented on New Year’s Day.
Please use the below form to cast your vote for the 2025 Skater of the Year. Please note that you must be a FISS Member (Affiliate, life or Full skating) in order to be eligible to vote. Parents may assist their children with the completion of the form and to submit their vote if they are under the age of 18, as there are no age restrictions for this ballot, BUT the vote must be the decision of the child and the child’s name must be used in “voter name”. Parents can only vote for their own personal choice if they themselves are Members.
Nominees do not need to be eligible to claim Championships in order to receive votes for annual awards.
