The track at the Brownlee Centre in Leeds was measured last year in accordance with World Skate rules. The distance of the full track measured in this way is 1614 metres. The mini skaters will use a shorter section of the track for their races. This measured in at 720 metres.
Track layout is below. The mini track is coloured blue. Pupils and above will skate the full track highlighted in yellow.


This is an excellent track. There is a dedicated space for those who are not racing, and the facilities (which are located in the building next to the track) are accessed via the bridge, therefore there will be no need to cross the track. Parking is available on site. There is a cafe in the main building from which you can obtain hot and cold beverages, and light food.
