East Midlands Racing (EMR) kick off the 2022/2023 Season with their EMR Club race at their home venue, Derby Rollerworld.
Featuring a race programme with a strong emphasis on fun and inclusivity, there is a distinctly unconventional feel to this outing from the Club, with the introduction of several new races, including the inventively named “its time to cheat” and an elimination race, the distance of which is randomly generated on the day of the event. There is also an additional mystery race involving all categories.
Skaters are split into categories determined by their ability as is traditional for Club level events. Novice skaters (those new to the sport/racing and young children) are welcome and there will be a set of three races aimed at this beginner level.
There is also a free optional social training session on the evening of the 15th October between 5pm – 7pm for those who have entered the main event on the 16th.
