FISS MEMBERSHIP

Membership is open and available to all skaters and anyone who wishes to register as a non skating Member as an affiliate, which includes parents, marshals, officials or assistants. This affiliate category also covers those who have a general interest in the sport and would like to be member in order to receive information and the benefits of Membership. Membership is renewed annually and runs from 1st January to the 31st December.

There are a number of benefits of being a FISS Member or affiliated Club, including:

• Reduced race entry fees
• Ability to race in competitions abroad with other international Federations
• Regular email communications and information
• Inclusion under the Federations insurance policy
• Entry to National Championships
• Potential pathway to Team GB, including development squad and the full GB squad
• Consideration for FISS Annual Awards and other privileges
• Ability to assist with races as marshals, assistants, and officials
• Access to discounted enhanced level DBS checks for relevant Club representatives
• Ability to vote in AGMs and for Annual Awards
• Access to the private Members only Facebook Group
• Photographs of races and events

• Full racing adult – £45
• Full racing minor (from 6 to 17 years of age) – £30
• Affiliate (non-skating Member) – £10
• Club Affiliation – £75
